Autumn Colors of Japan: Osaka – Kobe – Kyoto – Toyohashi – Fuji – Tokyo
DAY 1: HO CHI MINH CITY – OSAKA (OVERNIGHT ON BOARD)
Evening: Your TSTtourist tour leader will meet you at Gate D2, International Departure Terminal, Tan Son Nhat Airport, to check in for your flight to Kansai Airport, Osaka. You'll spend the night on board.
DAY 2: OSAKA – KOBE – OSAKA (BREAKFAST, LUNCH, DINNER)
Morning: Upon arrival at Kansai International Airport, complete immigration procedures. The group will enjoy a light breakfast of traditional Japanese Onigiri (rice balls), then begin sightseeing:
- Kobe Harborland – A complex commercial area facing Osaka Bay, featuring shopping malls and entertainment facilities.
- Hakutsuru Sake Brewery Museum – Discover exhibits and the intricate processes involved in producing Japan's famous Sake. Lunch: Enjoy a meal with a culinary demonstration and savor authentic Japanese beef specialties. In the afternoon, visit:
- Osaka Castle – Built in the late 16th century as the residence of Toyotomi Hideyoshi, the lord who unified Japan, this castle is a symbol of Osaka city (photos from outside).
- Shinsaibashi – Enjoy free time to explore and shop at this paradise for shopping and dining in Osaka, with countless stores, shopping centers ranging from affordable to luxury brands, and a wide variety of restaurants and eateries. Evening: Have dinner and check into your hotel for the night.
DAY 3: OSAKA – KYOTO – TOYOHASHI (BREAKFAST, LUNCH, DINNER)
Morning: Enjoy breakfast and check out. Depart for the ancient capital of Kyoto for sightseeing:
- Arashiyama Bamboo Grove – One of Kyoto's iconic scenic spots, honored as one of Japan's "100 Soundscapes."
- Togetsukyo Bridge (Moon Crossing Bridge) – Originally built in the 9th century, Togetsukyo Bridge features traditional Japanese wooden architecture with a gently curved design that blends harmoniously with the natural scenery. Lunch: Enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, visit:
- Fushimi Inari Shrine – Kyoto's famous shrine with thousands of vibrant red torii gates leading up Mount Inari, offering stunning long pathways and small shrines along the way. Evening: Afterward, the group will transfer to Toyohashi for dinner and check into the hotel for the night.
DAY 4: TOYOHASHI – FUJI (BREAKFAST, LUNCH, DINNER)
Morning: Enjoy breakfast and check out. Experience:
- A ride on the Shinkansen (Bullet Train) – one of the fastest and most modern trains in the world. Lunch: Enjoy lunch and try gold leaf ice cream, then visit:
- Mount Fuji – Standing at 3,776m, this is a sacred mountain for the Japanese people, recognized as a World Heritage site (2013). You will visit up to the 5th station of Mount Fuji (if weather conditions permit).
- Oshino Hakkai Village – A peaceful, ancient village nestled at the foot of Mount Fuji. Evening: Enjoy dinner, savoring the specialty snow crab hotpot, then check into your hotel for the night. Enjoy a complimentary Onsen hot spring bath – a traditional Japanese bathing experience where you soak in hot spring water directly from the mountain, believed to have therapeutic effects and leave your skin smoother.
DAY 5: FUJI – TOKYO – NARITA (BREAKFAST, LUNCH, DINNER)
Morning: Enjoy breakfast and check out. Depart for sightseeing:
- Oishi Park – A 350-meter long flower path, overflowing with natural colors and offering panoramic views of the magnificent Mount Fuji.
- Fruit Picking – A delightful and interactive activity when visiting Japan (seasonal, depends on actual weather). Lunch: Enjoy lunch and witness a traditional Japanese Geisha performance. Afterward, transfer to Tokyo for sightseeing:
- Asakusa Kannon Temple – The oldest temple, symbolizing resurrection and peace.
- Tokyo Skytree – One of the world's tallest broadcasting towers (photos from outside).
- Meiji Jingu Gaien Park – Located within the Meiji Jingu shrine complex, featuring over 100 ginkgo trees planted along Ginkgo Avenue, famous for their stunning golden transformation in autumn, creating an indescribably charming landscape.
- Icho Namiki (Ginkgo Avenue) – This approximately 300-meter long road is one of Tokyo's most beautiful walkways. In autumn, the ginkgo trees turn from green to brilliant orange and yellow, creating a stunning, seemingly gold-plated path shimmering in the gentle autumn sunlight. Evening: Enjoy dinner and check into your hotel in the Narita area for the night.
DAY 6: NARITA – HO CHI MINH CITY (BREAKFAST)
Morning: Enjoy breakfast and check out. The vehicle will transfer the group to Narita International Airport for check-in and your flight back to Vietnam. Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat Airport, your TSTtourist tour leader will bid you farewell. The tour concludes.
