Itinerary Overview
This 4-day cultural tour introduces travelers to the dynamic city life and rural charm of southern Vietnam. Beginning in Ho Chi Minh City, visitors will explore important historical and cultural landmarks, including the War Remnants Museum and the lively Ben Thanh Market. The journey continues with an excursion to the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, offering insight into Vietnam’s wartime history. Travelers will also visit the picturesque Mekong Delta region in My Tho, where a boat ride along the Mekong River and a visit to Thoi Son Islet provide an authentic experience of local culture, cuisine, and traditional lifestyles.

Travel Itinerary
Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat Airport, you will be met by tour guide and driver and transferred to hotel for check-in then do a short sightseeing tour of Ho Chi Minh City: Visit Presidential Palace, The Hundred Years Red Cathedral (Notre Dame Cathedral), The Old Post Office and The People’s Committee Hall, Ben Thanh Market for shopping. Dinner will be served on Saigon River Cruise with show entertainment along the Saigon River at the end of the day.
After breakfast, we take one and half hour to Cu Chi, visit the tunnels system of more than 200km in length which used to be the shelters of guerrillas during the war against American troops. Return to Ho Chi Minh for lunch. After lunch, visit to The War Museum, the famous lacquer ware factory and the handicraft center and Ben Thanh Market for shopping. We have dinner at local restaurant.
After breakfast, a two hour drive to My Tho will expose the colorful outskirt life as well as picturesque rice fields along the journey. Upon arrival, get on a boat trip up Mekong River with islet stop at Thoi Son to taste seasonal fruits, enjoy traditional folk songs. Then, visit the authentic life of the local and challenge your bargaining power at cottage handicraft shops. An adventurous sampan ride in palm shading creeks will be the next experience of the riverside region. Lunch will be served with the Mekong Delta specialty, Deep fried elephant ear fish. Return to Ho Chi Minh City in the afternoon. Dinner will be served at local restaurant.

Guided sightseeing tours are conducted with professional local guides and comfortable transportation. Some free time may be available for shopping or personal exploration.
Pick-up & Transfers:
Arrival and departure transfers are provided to and from Tan Son Nhat International Airport. Scheduled transfers between attractions in Ho Chi Minh City, Cu Chi Tunnels, and My Tho are included.

This is a 4-day tour starting and ending in Ho Chi Minh City. Any changes to the itinerary, route adjustments, or extensions may incur additional charges.
Note:
Some activities include moderate walking and boat rides in the Mekong Delta region. Comfortable clothing, sun protection, and walking shoes are recommended.
