Japan Tour: Tokyo - Yamanashi - Nabana No Sato - Kyoto - Osaka (5 Days, 5 Nights) from Ho Chi Minh City - New Year 2026
NIGHT 1: HO CHI MINH CITY – NARITA AIRPORT (OVERNIGHT ON BOARD)
Please gather at Tan Son Nhat Airport to check in for your VN flight (00:20 – 07:45) to Japan. You will spend the night on the plane.
DAY 1: NARITA - TOKYO (BREAKFAST, LUNCH, DINNER)
Morning: The group is expected to arrive at Narita Airport around 08:00 AM and complete immigration procedures. Your tour guide will arrange breakfast at the airport, and then the vehicle will take you to Tokyo for sightseeing.
You will visit the Tokyo Imperial Palace, one of Japan's ancient, historically significant palaces with beauty intertwined with cultural history. This is currently still the residence and workplace of the Japanese Imperial Family (photos from outside).
Noon: Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon: The group will continue sightseeing. You will visit Asakusa Kannon Temple, also known as Sensoji, an ancient temple located in Asakusa, Taito, Tokyo, Japan. It is arguably the oldest and most important temple in Japan, built specifically for the worship of Guanyin Bodhisattva.
Stroll along Nakamise shopping street, a pedestrian street approximately 250m long extending from the Kaminari-mon Gate to the Hozomon Gate, established in 1685 with many exquisite traditional handicrafts and spiritual significance. Take photos with the Tokyo Skytree from the Sumida River (photos from outside the tower). Enjoy shopping in the Akihabara electronics district, offering a wide range of electronic products from affordable to high-end (if time permits).
Evening: Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. Check into your hotel for an overnight stay in Tokyo.
DAY 2: TOKYO - YAMANASHI (BREAKFAST, LUNCH, DINNER)
Morning: Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Then, check out. The vehicle will pick up the group and transfer you to the Mount Fuji area for sightseeing. You will cruise on Lake Yamanaka. Yamanaka is one of the Fuji Five Lakes located in Yamanakako Village, Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan. It is a popular tourist destination, attracting visitors from all over the world with its poetic and romantic beauty, along with diverse and exciting tourism activities. Here, you can experience a boat cruise on the lake and freely take photos of Mount Fuji from the cruise ship. Visit Fujiten Snow Resort, located on the north side of Mount Fuji, the symbol of Japan, making it very convenient to admire Mount Fuji from a distance, standing out amidst the vast white snow. Fujiten is also known as Asia's most beautiful ski resort because the pristine white snow scenery here creates a fairytale-like setting. (Costs for games and activities are at your own expense).
Enjoy free time for shopping at Gotemba Premium Outlets (if time permits).
Evening: The group will have dinner. Check into your hotel for an overnight stay in Mount Fuji. You will have the opportunity to wear a Yukata and enjoy a traditional Onsen bath, a type of bathing highly beneficial for health in Japan. The Japanese believe that soaking in natural hot spring water helps relax and treat certain joint and muscle pains.
DAY 3: YAMANASHI - NAGOYA (BREAKFAST, LUNCH, DINNER)
Morning: Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Then, check out. Visit Oshino Hakkai Ancient Village, a small village nestled at the foot of Mount Fuji, boasting ancient Japanese architecture and a serene, beautiful landscape.
Oshino Hakkai is famous for its tranquil, simple scenery that offers a very peaceful feeling. This is where eight beautiful ponds converge, formed from historical volcanic eruptions and activity. The traditional thatched roofs, slowly turning waterwheels, and the fascinating view of Mount Fuji all transport you to another era. This is a popular and often crowded destination, but even so, the area maintains its peaceful charm.
Experience the Shinkansen bullet train (the pride of Japan, with a speed of 300km/h). Visit Nabana no Sato theme park, located on Nagashima Island in Mie Prefecture, near Nagoya. Here, you will immerse yourself in the largest light festival of the Land of the Rising Sun.
The annual light art program features different themes and decorations. Millions of light bulbs can change color or illuminate according to a computer-controlled theme.
Evening: The group will have dinner at a local restaurant or hotel. Check into your room for rest and freely explore Nagoya city at night.
DAY 4: NAGOYA – KYOTO - OSAKA (BREAKFAST, LUNCH, DINNER)
Morning: Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Then, check out. The vehicle will pick you up and transfer you to the ancient capital of Kyoto for sightseeing.
You will visit Kinkakuji Temple (Golden Pavilion), one of Kyoto's most prominent cultural heritage sites in Japan. Known for its splendor and magnificence, Kinkakuji Temple shines brightly with its two upper floors covered in dazzling gold leaf, symbolizing Japan's unique architectural art and rich history.
Visit Osaka Castle (photos from outside), a cultural and historical destination considered one of Japan's "Three Great Castles."
Upon arriving here, you will surely marvel at its majestic yet ancient appearance. You will enjoy a Geisha show, experience wearing traditional Japanese clothing, and have free time for shopping.
Evening: The group will have dinner at a local restaurant. Check into your hotel for an overnight stay in Kansai.
DAY 5: KANSAI - HO CHI MINH CITY (BREAKFAST)
Morning: Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. The vehicle will pick you up and transfer you to Kansai International Airport to check in for your VN flight (10:30 AM – 2:15 PM) back to Saigon.
The group is expected to arrive at Tan Son Nhat Airport at 2:15 PM. Your tour guide will bid farewell to the group and conclude the program.
