Enjoy a private transfer to your boutique hotel surrounded by tropical gardens.
Optional visits: Entebbe Botanical Gardens or Uganda Wildlife Education Centre before unwinding at sunset.
After breakfast, head north to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a guided on-foot rhino tracking experience. Learn about the sanctuary’s conservation work. This is the only place in Uganda where you will find rhinos, one of the Big 5 of Africa. Arrive at your lodge by late afternoon to enjoy a welcome drink overlooking the Nile River and a relaxed dinner under the stars.
Start early with a hot-air balloon safari (optional, pre-booking required) or a classic morning game drive in the northern savannah — home to lions, elephants, giraffes, and buffalo.
Relax with brunch and pool time before your afternoon boat cruise to the base of the thunderous Murchison Falls.
Spot hippos, crocodiles, and abundant birdlife, then toast to the sunset before dinner at your lodge.
Travel south through Uganda’s lush tea plantations and the Albertine Rift Valley.
Stop in Fort Portal a quaint town sitting at the base of the Rwenzori Mountain ranges.
After lunch, continue to your lodge near Kibale National Park. Enjoy an evening nature walk or birdwatching, followed by a panoramic dinner overlooking crater lakes or the forest.
Begin your day with an exciting chimpanzee tracking trek in Kibale National Park, home to the highest primate diversity in Africa.
Spend the afternoon visiting a local community project or taking a crater lake walk.
Later, join your hosts for a cooking class or storytelling session around the fire.
Drive through the scenic Kigezi Highlands, pausing at viewpoints and local markets for a taste of authentic Uganda.
Arrive at your eco-lodge near Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and unwind with afternoon tea.
Today’s the highlight — gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that shelters nearly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas (just over 1,000 individuals).
Your trek through mist-covered jungle leads to an unforgettable moment: standing just meters away from a gorilla family.
This profound encounter not only connects you to one of Earth’s most majestic species but also supports ongoing conservation efforts in Uganda.
After breakfast, begin your return journey through Uganda’s rolling hills, tea plantations, and traditional villages. Arrive in Entebbe by evening for your onward flight or overnight stay—carrying unforgettable memories of Uganda’s people, wildlife, and wild beauty.
You have the option of a domestic flight at an additional cost. This is on request and at time of booking.
Book and pay for your gorilla trekking permit early. We advise payment 6 months plus especially if you plan to travel in the high season June - September.
