Travel Itinerary
Begin your adventure with an early morning pick-up from your Arusha hotel and set off for the stunning Tarangire National Park, carrying your lunch boxes for a seamless day of exploration. Embark on an exhilarating game drive across diverse landscapes—from lush seasonal swamps to golden savannas—while encountering the park’s famous large elephant herds. Watch in awe as lions stalk their prey or spot elusive leopards perched gracefully in the trees above. Named after the winding Tarangire River, the park’s lifeline during the dry season, this remarkable destination promises breathtaking wildlife encounters and unforgettable moments. After an action-packed day, return to the lodge to relax and overnight in comfort.
After a hearty breakfast, your safari guide will take you to Lake Eyasi to meet the Hadzabe community, renowned for their traditional hunting skills. Experience an authentic hunting demonstration and learn firsthand how they track and catch their prey. Next, visit the nearby Datoga community, famous for their expert blacksmithing craftsmanship. Take time to stretch your legs with a scenic walk around Lake Eyasi and explore a local village to immerse yourself in the vibrant lifestyle and culture of rural Africa. After a day full of unique cultural encounters, return to the lodge to relax, enjoy dinner, and overnight in comfort.
After breakfast, your guide will pick you up and drive you to the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable game drive, with lunch boxes in tow. A UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s natural wonders, Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact caldera in the world. Home to around 30,000 large mammals year-round—including buffalo, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos—plus a rich variety of birds such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards, this incredible landscape offers the chance to witness remarkable wildlife encounters in a short time. Get ready for a day full of awe-inspiring sights and memories to last a lifetime.
