Travel Itinerary
Upon arrival at Dar es Salaam or Julius Nyerere International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to your comfortable mid-range hotel for relaxation after your international flight. Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy a short city orientation or simply relax at the hotel while preparing for your safari adventure ahead. Dar es Salaam, Tanzania’s vibrant coastal city, offers a warm tropical atmosphere and serves as the gateway to Southern Tanzania’s wildlife destinations. Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Dar es Salaam.
After breakfast, you will transfer to the domestic airport for your scenic flight or begin your road transfer to Nyerere National Park, formerly known as Selous Game Reserve. Upon arrival, you will begin an exciting guided game drive through one of Africa’s largest and most untouched wildlife reserves. The park is famous for its incredible wildlife diversity including elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, hippos, crocodiles, antelopes, and numerous bird species.
