Travel Itinerary
Early in the morning, you will transfer to the railway station in Dar es Salaam to board the 06:00 AM Standard Gauge Railway train heading to Morogoro. The modern train journey offers a comfortable and scenic travel experience through beautiful Tanzanian landscapes, rolling hills, and local villages. Upon arrival in Morogoro, you will meet your professional safari driver-guide and continue with a scenic road transfer to Mikumi National Park. Upon entering the park, you will begin your first guided game drive while exploring the famous Mkata Floodplain, home to abundant wildlife and breathtaking savannah scenery. During the safari, you may encounter elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeests, antelopes, and numerous bird species. Later in the evening, you will proceed to your comfortable mid-range lodge or camp for dinner and overnight stay.
