Itinerary Overview
This itinerary starts in Dar es Salaam and travels inland to Ruaha National Park via Mikumi National Park, with scenic views and brief wildlife sightings along the way, after enjoying game drives in Ruaha’s remote wilderness, the journey returns through Mikumi National Park for final game viewing before continuing to Dar es Salaam for departure.
Travel Itinerary
A warm welcome to Tanzania upon arrival meets your guide driver with greetings morning pick up from Dar es salaam International Airport then depart from Dar es Salaam and travel toward Ruaha National Park via Mikumi National Park, the journey offers scenic views of rural landscapes, mountains, and open savannahs, upon reaching Mikumi National Park, enjoy a short game viewing experience en route, with chances to see elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and other wildlife across the wide plains, afterward, continue the drive to Ruaha National Park, arriving later in the day and proceeding to your lodge or tented camp for leisure, dinner, and overnight, ready for the next day’s safari activities.
After early breakfast, you will head out for morning game drive when a wildlife is most active, this is the best time to sport predators such as lions, leopards, African wild dogs, you will continue exploring different areas of the park including the riverbank and open plains, After lunch and short rest, you will enjoy another game drive to search for more wildlife and enjoy the vast scenery of Ruaha then return to your Tented Camp for leisure, dinner and overnight.
