Travel Itinerary
You will fly from Zanzibar Airport at 7:35 am and arrive in Serengeti at 10:50 am. On arrival at the Seronera Airstrip, you will meet your professional and well-experienced local English-speaking safari driver guide.
After greetings, he will give you a short pre-safari briefing and then embark on a game drive in Serengeti National Park for a chance to see the great herds of wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles or a pride of lions lounging in the shade. The Serengeti is one of the largest parks in Africa at 15,000 sq km. It is home to some 3 million large mammals and is made up of a diversity of landscapes. The southern region is dominated by the lush grassy plains that draw about 2 million wildebeest, half a million zebra, and some quarter million antelope to make the hazardous journey in search of pasture when the autumn rains come.
