Itinerary Overview
This 3-day safari offers an unforgettable journey through the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. The adventure begins with a flight from Zanzibar to the Serengeti, where you will enjoy exciting game drives across the vast plains, home to the Big Five and a wide variety of wildlife. The safari continues to the Ngorongoro Highlands before exploring the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, famous for its stunning scenery and exceptional wildlife viewing. Throughout the safari, you will stay in comfortable lodges and tented camps, combining adventure, comfort, and authentic African hospitality.
Travel Itinerary
Your day will begin with an early morning pick-up from your hotel at 06:00 AM, followed by a transfer to Zanzibar Airport for your scheduled 08:00 AM flight departing from Terminal 2 to the Serengeti Airstrip. The flight duration is approximately three hours, giving you the chance to enjoy spectacular views of Tanzania’s diverse landscapes before arriving in the Serengeti at around 11:00 AM.
After landing, you will set off on your first thrilling game drive across the famous Serengeti plains, home to an incredible variety of wildlife. Along the way, you will enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic location within the park, surrounded by the beauty of the African wilderness. Following lunch, the afternoon game drive will continue as you explore more areas of the park and search for animals in their natural surroundings.
Towards the evening, you will proceed to your lodge for check-in and some time to relax before dinner. You will then enjoy an overnight stay at the lodge.
Enjoy a full-day safari adventure in the Serengeti as you search for incredible wildlife, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, as well as different species of antelopes and birds. Discover the Serengeti’s endless golden savannahs, renowned for their breathtaking landscapes and abundant wildlife.
Later in the afternoon, continue with a scenic drive to your accommodation in the Ngorongoro Highlands, located only about 20 minutes from the crater rim. This convenient location allows you to begin your Ngorongoro Crater safari the following day with enough time to fully enjoy the experience at a relaxed pace.
