10-Day Turkey Highlights: Gallipoli, Ephesus, Pamukkale and Cappadocia

This comprehensive journey through Turkey bridges two continents and thousands of years of history, from the ancient ruins of the Aegean to the spiritual plains of Anatolia. The experience is highlighted by a somber visit to the WWI battlefields of Gallipoli and the legendary wooden horse of Troy, followed by an immersion into Greco-Roman grandeur at Ephesus and the white "Cotton Castle" thermal pools of Pamukkale. The adventure reaches its peak in Cappadocia, where you will explore the UNESCO-listed Goreme Open-Air Museum and venture deep into an ancient underground city, all while surrounded by the region's famous "fairy chimney" rock formations.

The tour commences with your arrival and an introductory city tour of Istanbul on Day 1, followed by a drive to the historic Dardanelles for the Gallipoli tour on Day 2. Day 3 moves through the ruins of Troy and Pergamon to reach the coastal town of Kuşadası, serving as a base for an extensive Ephesus exploration on Day 4. The journey continues to the calcium terraces of Pamukkale on Day 5, followed by a long scenic drive via the spiritual city of Konya to reach Cappadocia on Day 6. After a full Day 7 exploring lunar landscapes and cave dwellings, the tour concludes on Day 8 with a domestic flight back to Istanbul for your final departure.

Tour Schedule: Guided sightseeing operates according to the 8-day itinerary. Please note that the long-distance drives (particularly between Pamukkale and Cappadocia) are significant, typically involving 8–10 hours of travel including stops.

Pick-up: Airport transfers are provided at Istanbul Airport (IST/SAW). The tour includes a domestic flight from Cappadocia back to Istanbul on the final day.

Duration: This is an 8-day "Grand Turkey" loop. Optional activities, such as a Hot Air Balloon flight in Cappadocia or a Bosphorus Cruise in Istanbul, may incur additional charges.

Note: Site access in Ephesus and Pamukkale involves walking over ancient stones and slippery travertine surfaces; sturdy, non-slip footwear is highly recommended.

Important: Entrance fees for museums (Goreme, Ephesus, Troy, etc.) are generally included. Modest dress (shoulders and knees covered) is required when visiting active mosques in Istanbul or the Mevlana Museum in Konya.
