The journey is highlighted by an exploration of the emerald Soča Valley and the fairytale landscapes of Lake Bled, where you will visit a cliffside castle and taste the famous local cream cake. You will transition from the subterranean wonders of the Postojna Cave—traversed by a unique miniature electric train—to the sun-drenched Adriatic coast in the Venetian-style town of Piran. The experience is enriched by curated culinary moments, including wine tastings overlooking the capital, prosciutto pairings in the Karst region, and a traditional "tourist farm" dinner in the rolling hills of Goriška Brda.
Itinerary Overview
The adventure commences with your arrival in Ljubljana or Venice on Day 1, followed by a Day 2 city tour of the Slovenian capital featuring a cable car ride to Ljubljana Castle. Day 3 takes you underground into the massive Postojna Cave before reaching the coastal beauty of Piran. On Day 4, you will explore the resort of Portorož and the "Slovenian Tuscany" of Goriška Brda, while Day 5 follows the historic Soča River through the WWI landscapes of Kobarid to reach the Alps. Day 6 is dedicated to the mountain splendors of Lake Bled and Lake Bohinj, including a cable car ascent to Mt. Vogel, concluding with a farewell dinner before your departure transfer on Day 7.

Travel Itinerary
Upon arrival in Venice or Ljubljana, you will be met and transferred to your Ljubljana Hotel. The rest of the day is free to relax or to begin exploring. This evening meet your fellow travelers for the orientation meeting including a Welcome Drink.
In the morning enjoy a sightseeing tour of Ljubljana followed by lunch. After some free time take a cable car to Ljubljana Castle and enjoy wine tasting of some excellent Slovenian Wines with an amazing view of Ljubljana.
Travel to the Karst Region. Your first stop is at the Postojna Cave, one of the largest in Europe Tour. This unique subterranean world by miniature electric train. After the tour, proceed to a nearby wine producer for Teran Wine and prosciutto tasting. Finally, drive to Piran on the Slovenian Coast.
See the highlights of Piran this morning, then head to Portoroz, a popular tourist resort. Continue to the hilly region of Goriska Brda. Discover the charming town of Smartno and have a delicious dinner at a local tourist farm. Overnight in Nova Gorica.

Tour Schedule: Guided sightseeing and transportation operate according to the 7-day itinerary. Please note that the order of visits may be adjusted based on local weather conditions, particularly for cable car operations.
Pick-up: Arrival and departure transfers are provided from either Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport (LJU) or Venice Marco Polo Airport (VCE). Daily tours include hotel pick-ups.
Duration: This is a 7-day regional tour. Cross-border transfers from Venice to Slovenia are included if selected as your arrival point.
Note: The Postojna Cave maintains a constant temperature of 10°C (50°F) year-round; warm clothing is highly recommended for the underground portion.
Important: Tasting sessions (wine, cheese, cream cake) and entrance fees for major sites like Bled Castle and the Kobarid Museum are typically included as per the program. Participation in the farewell dinner is included in the tour package.
