Embark on 7 days Rwanda primates safari adventure that starts with a city tour to explore Kigali’s vibrant city, thrilling Canoeing adventure and visit to Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Dian Fossey Gorilla fund in Musanze, experience Gorilla & Golden monkey trekking in Volcanoes national park and immerse yourself in Local traditions at the iby’iwacu cultural village, explore Ibere rya bigogwe and the kivu belt, wander through the lush Gisakura tea plantation and experience chimpanzee trekking in Nyungwe forest, followed by canopy walk and zipline experience, the journey extends to a visit at the king’s palace museum, and shopping for souvenirs in Kigali.
Travel Itinerary
Start your tour with a visit at the Kigali genocide memorial, offering a deep insight on Rwanda’s 1994 genocide history and resilience, thereafter, visit Kimironko local market, Kigali’s largest and busiest local market where community members come together to buy, sell and socialize. Later explore Nyandungu eco-park, a serene urban oasis in Kigali with green and clean Gardens, offering a tranquil escape for visitors. Accommodation: Hotel des Mille Collines or similar
Embark on an exciting canoeing experience in Mukungwa river near the volcanoes National park, followed by a visit to the Ellen DeGeneres Campus by Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund, where you will learn more about the conservation efforts dedicated to these magnificent creatures and learn some of their behaviors to better prepare for your Gorilla trekking tour ahead.
