Itinerary Overview
This 5-day North Island tour begins in Auckland, New Zealand’s largest and most vibrant city. From Auckland, travel through the scenic Waikato region to visit the famous Waitomo Glowworm Caves before continuing to Rotorua, known for its geothermal landscapes and rich Maori culture. Spend time exploring Rotorua’s highlights including its lakefront, gardens, and forests. The journey continues with a visit to the iconic Hobbiton Movie Set before returning to Auckland for your final night. The tour concludes with a departure transfer to Auckland Airport.

Travel Itinerary
On arrival, you will be met on arrival and privately transferred to your accommodation. Auckland is New Zealand's largest city. Overnight: Auckland
Departing Auckland, a guided tour in Waikato countryside to Waitomo Caves. Waitomo Glowworm caves. Overnight at Rotorua.
Visit the Rotorua Lakefront and Sulphur Point before a stroll through the beautiful Government Gardens. Kuirau Park, Ohinemutu, Maori Village walk through the Redwood Forest at your own leisure before being returned to accomodation.
Leave Rotorua on guided tour to the Hobbiton Movie Set. Finish the visit to the Green Dragon Inn for a beverage and a sumptuous lunch at the party marquee before heading on to Auckland.

Guided sightseeing tours are included on selected days with visits to major attractions such as Waitomo Glowworm Caves, Rotorua city highlights, and the Hobbiton Movie Set. Some free time may be provided during the visits.
Pick-up & Transfers:
Arrival and departure airport transfers in Auckland are included. Transportation for all scheduled tours between Auckland, Waitomo, Rotorua, and Hobbiton is provided.
Duration:
This is a 5-day tour beginning with arrival in Auckland and ending with departure from Auckland. Changes or additional services may incur extra charges.
Note:
Activities involve sightseeing and light to moderate walking. Comfortable clothing and walking shoes are recommended.
