Your journey begins with an early morning drive from Kathmandu towards the beautiful Helambu region. Passing through scenic hills, rivers, terraced fields, and local villages, you will reach Tarkeghyang, one of the most beautiful Hyolmo villages in the area. After arriving, explore the peaceful surroundings, visit local monasteries, and prepare for the early morning hike to Ama Yangri. Enjoy the mountain atmosphere, local culture, and overnight stay at a guesthouse in Tarkeghyang.
Early in the morning, begin the hike to Ama Yangri, one of the best short hiking destinations near Kathmandu. The trail passes through peaceful forests, prayer flags, and beautiful mountain landscapes. After reaching the Ama Yangri viewpoint, enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the Langtang, Jugal, Dorje Lakpa, and Gaurishankar Himalayan ranges along with a spectacular sunrise experience. Spend some time exploring and taking photographs before descending back to Tarkeghyang. After breakfast and short rest, drive back to Kathmandu with wonderful memories of the trek.
