Your Everest Base Camp adventure begins the moment you arrive in Kathmandu, the cultural, historical, and spiritual heart of Nepal. After completing immigration and customs at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be warmly greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel in the bustling tourist district of Thamel.
The drive through Kathmandu offers your first glimpse of Nepal’s vibrant street life, temples, and colorful chaos. After check-in, you can rest or take a short walk through Thamel’s lively alleys filled with trekking shops, handicrafts, cafes, and travel energy.
In the evening, a detailed pre-trek briefing will be conducted. Your guide will explain the full route, daily walking hours, altitude risks, safety protocols, weather expectations, and packing checklist. This session ensures you are fully prepared before entering the high Himalayas.

Accommodation: Teahouse lodge in PhakdingThe day begins with an early morning transfer to the domestic airport for one of the most scenic and adventurous flights in the world. The aircraft flies over deep river valleys, terraced hills, and finally into the towering Himalayan range, landing at the famous Tenzing-Hillary Airport in Lukla.
After landing, you meet your trekking crew and begin organizing gear and loads. The trek starts immediately with a gentle descent, allowing your body to slowly adjust to trekking conditions. The trail passes through traditional Sherpa villages, fluttering prayer flags, carved mani stones, and suspension bridges above the roaring Dudh Koshi River.
The walk is relatively easy and designed for acclimatization. By afternoon, you arrive at Phakding, a peaceful riverside village surrounded by pine forests, where you spend your first night in the Everest region.

- All required trekking permits including Sagarmatha National Park permit and Khumbu rural municipality permit
