• Day 1 : Pokhara to Lumbini – Scenic Journey and Lumbini Exploration

  Your 4-day Nepal highlights tour begins in the beautiful lakeside city of Pokhara, where you meet your tour manager and fellow travelers before starting the journey toward Lumbini. After breakfast, drive south through the picturesque hills and valleys of western Nepal, following the Prithvi Highway and continuing toward the Terai plains. The journey takes you through changing landscapes, from green hills and winding mountain roads to warmer lowland scenery. Upon reaching Lumbini, the sacred birthplace of Lord Buddha, check into your hotel and take some time to refresh. Depending on the arrival time, begin exploring the peaceful Lumbini area, including the Central Canal and surrounding monastic zone. You can enjoy the calm atmosphere of the gardens and observe monasteries representing different Buddhist traditions from around the world. In the evening, enjoy dinner and relax at your hotel, preparing for a deeper exploration of Lumbini the following morning.

• Day 2 : Lumbini to Chitwan – Buddhist Heritage and Tharu Culture

  Begin the morning with breakfast before exploring the most important attractions of Lumbini. Visit the sacred Maya Devi Temple, traditionally recognized as the birthplace of Siddhartha Gautama, the Buddha. Continue to the historic Ashoka Pillar, erected by Emperor Ashoka to commemorate Buddha's birthplace, and explore the peaceful Lumbini gardens and surrounding archaeological area. You will also have an opportunity to visit the International Monastic Zone, where monasteries and temples built by different Buddhist communities showcase diverse architectural and spiritual traditions. After completing the Lumbini sightseeing, continue the drive toward Chitwan through Nepal's changing landscape as the road descends into the subtropical Terai region. Upon arrival in Chitwan, check into your jungle resort and enjoy some time to relax. Later, experience the local side of Chitwan with a visit to a traditional Tharu village. Learn about the lifestyle, traditions and culture of the indigenous Tharu community before enjoying a beautiful sunset along the Rapti River. In the evening, experience a traditional Tharu cultural performance featuring local music and dance before dinner at the resort.
