Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel in the heart of the city. The drive introduces you to the vibrant chaos of Kathmandu, where ancient culture meets modern trekking tourism. After check-in, the rest of the day is completely free for rest, recovery, and light exploration of the lively Thamel area, known for its trekking shops, cafes, and cultural atmosphere. In the evening, a detailed pre-trek briefing will be conducted by your guide, covering route overview, altitude safety, packing essentials, weather conditions, and expectations for the Himalayan journey ahead. This day is essential for mental and physical preparation before entering the high mountains. Accommodation: Hotel in Kathmandu
Early morning, you board a scenic mountain flight to Lukla, one of the most dramatic airport experiences in the world. The flight itself offers breathtaking views of snow-covered peaks and deep valleys. After landing, you meet your porter team and begin the trek into the Everest region. The trail gently descends through pine forests, small Sherpa villages, prayer flags, mani stones, and suspension bridges crossing the roaring Dudh Koshi River. This is your first real experience of Himalayan trekking rhythm, slow, peaceful, and immersive. After 3–4 hours of easy trekking, you arrive in Phakding, a quiet riverside village where you will rest for the night. Accommodation: Teahouse in Phakding
Today’s journey becomes more challenging as you enter the protected Sagarmatha National Park, home to rare wildlife and iconic Himalayan landscapes. The trail includes multiple suspension bridge crossings, dense forests of rhododendron and pine, and continuous uphill sections that test your endurance. As you climb higher, the first distant views of Mount Everest begin to appear between the ridges, creating an unforgettable emotional moment. The final steep ascent to Namche Bazaar is demanding but rewarding, as you enter the bustling Sherpa capital surrounded by towering peaks. Accommodation: Teahouse in Namche
This crucial acclimatization day is designed to help your body adjust to reduced oxygen levels. You will take a short but scenic hike to Everest View Hotel or nearby Khumjung village, where panoramic views of Everest, Ama Dablam, and Thamserku dominate the skyline. Along the way, you also experience Sherpa culture, monasteries, and traditional mountain lifestyle. After returning, the rest of the day is relaxed, allowing time for coffee, exploration, photography, and recovery. Proper acclimatization today is key for a safe journey ahead into higher altitudes. Accommodation: Teahouse in Namche
The trail today is considered one of the most scenic sections of the entire Everest region. You descend through forests and river valleys before climbing gradually along ridges with uninterrupted views of Himalayan giants. As you approach Tengboche, the spiritual energy becomes stronger, highlighted by the famous Tengboche Monastery, a sacred Buddhist site surrounded by dramatic mountain backdrops including Ama Dablam. The peaceful chanting, fluttering prayer flags, and alpine scenery make this day deeply memorable. Accommodation: Teahouse in Tengboche
Leaving the forest zone behind, the landscape transitions into open alpine valleys with fewer trees and more rugged terrain. The trail passes through Pangboche, one of the oldest Sherpa settlements in the region, known for its traditional stone houses and cultural heritage. The gradual ascent continues with breathtaking views of Ama Dablam dominating the skyline throughout the day. Dingboche, a wide valley surrounded by towering peaks, welcomes you with its peaceful high-altitude atmosphere. The environment becomes quieter and more exposed as you gain elevation steadily. This section also offers a strong sense of entering the upper Himalayan region. Accommodation: Teahouse in Dingboche
Another essential acclimatization day is spent hiking to nearby ridges such as Nagarjun Hill. The climb is steep but highly rewarding, offering panoramic views of Makalu, Lhotse, Island Peak, and surrounding glaciers. This high-altitude hike improves oxygen efficiency and prepares your body for extreme elevations ahead. The rest of the day is slow-paced, focused on hydration, rest, and mental preparation for the upper Everest region. The village environment provides a calm setting to recover and adjust. Proper pacing today is key for safe progress ahead. Accommodation: Teahouse in Dingboche
Today’s trail becomes more rugged and dramatic as vegetation disappears and glacier terrain dominates the landscape. You pass Thukla Pass, where emotional memorials dedicated to climbers who lost their lives on Everest create a powerful and reflective atmosphere. The air becomes noticeably thinner, and movement slows naturally due to altitude. By late afternoon, you arrive at Lobuche, surrounded by icy peaks and moraine valleys. The environment feels remote and intense as you enter the high alpine zone. This section marks a major step toward Everest Base Camp. Accommodation: Teahouse in Lobuche
This is one of the most important and highly anticipated days of the entire Everest journey. The trail gradually ascends along the edge of the mighty Khumbu Glacier, where the landscape becomes increasingly rugged, icy, and dramatic. Walking across rocky moraines and high-altitude glacial terrain, you experience the raw beauty of the Himalayas at extreme elevation. Upon reaching Everest Base Camp, you stand at the foot of the world’s highest mountain, surrounded by expedition camps during climbing season and the incredible atmosphere of mountaineering history. After spending meaningful time at this iconic destination, absorbing the surroundings and capturing memories, you retrace your steps back to Gorak Shep. The return journey is equally demanding due to altitude and terrain, but filled with deep satisfaction and emotional achievement. Accommodation: Teahouse in Gorak Shep
Early in the morning, you begin a challenging ascent toward Kala Patthar, the most famous viewpoint in the Everest region. As the sun rises, golden light slowly spreads across Mount Everest and surrounding peaks, creating one of the most breathtaking panoramic Himalayan views possible. After spending time at the summit, you descend carefully back to Gorak Shep and continue your journey toward Dzongla. The trail transitions through high-altitude rocky terrain, glacial sections, and open alpine landscapes. This long and demanding day combines both a world-class viewpoint experience and continued trekking through remote Himalayan wilderness. Accommodation: Teahouse in Dzongla
Today is one of the most technical, physically demanding, and adventurous sections of the entire trek. You begin early to cross the challenging Cho La Pass at over 5,400 meters, where icy trails, steep ascents, and glacier crossings require careful footing and steady pace. Weather conditions can change quickly, adding to the difficulty and excitement of the day. Despite the challenges, reaching the top of the pass rewards you with dramatic 360-degree Himalayan views. After a careful descent over rocky and icy terrain, you arrive at Thagnak, a small settlement where you can finally rest and recover after an intense high-altitude crossing. Accommodation: Teahouse in Thagnak
The trail today follows the edge of the vast Ngozumpa Glacier, the longest glacier in Nepal, offering a surreal and ever-changing icy landscape. As you continue trekking, the terrain gradually softens, and the stunning Gokyo Valley begins to appear. The sight of turquoise glacial lakes surrounded by towering Himalayan peaks creates a dramatic contrast to previous rugged sections. The shorter trekking duration allows for a more relaxed pace, and upon arrival in Gokyo village, you have time to explore, rest, and enjoy the peaceful high-altitude environment. Accommodation: Teahouse in Gokyo
Early morning, you undertake a steep but rewarding climb to Gokyo Ri, one of the most spectacular viewpoints in the entire Himalayas. From the summit, you are rewarded with an incredible panoramic view of Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, and Cho Oyu all visible in a single sweeping horizon. After spending time at the top and descending back to Gokyo, the rest of the day is reserved for rest and relaxation. You can walk around the serene Gokyo Lakes, reflect on your journey, and enjoy the peaceful silence of the high mountains. Accommodation: Teahouse in Gokyo
The descent begins as you leave the high-altitude Gokyo Valley behind. The trail leads through alpine meadows, yak grazing fields, and scenic ridges with gradually improving oxygen levels. As you descend, the environment becomes greener and more welcoming, offering a refreshing contrast to the previous high-altitude challenges. The journey to Dole is peaceful and steady, allowing you to walk comfortably while enjoying the changing Himalayan scenery. Accommodation: Teahouse in Dole
Continuing your descent, the trail passes through beautiful rhododendron forests, small Sherpa villages, and cascading streams. Gradually, you rejoin the main Everest trekking route as you approach Namche Bazaar once again. The return to this lively mountain town feels refreshing and energetic after days in remote high-altitude regions. Cafes, bakeries, and shops offer a comfortable environment to relax, reflect, and celebrate your achievement. Accommodation: Teahouse in Namche
This is the final trekking day of your Himalayan journey. You descend through familiar trails, crossing suspension bridges, forests, and river valleys while gradually moving back toward Lukla. Although the path is physically easier due to descent, the long duration makes it a full trekking day. Upon arrival in Lukla, you celebrate the completion of your Everest Base Camp and Gokyo Ri expedition with your guide and porter team, marking the end of a life-changing adventure. Accommodation: Teahouse in Lukla
Early morning, you board a scenic flight from Lukla back to Kathmandu, enjoying final aerial views of the Himalayan range. Upon landing, you are transferred to your hotel where you can rest and relax after the trek. The remainder of the day is free for shopping, sightseeing, or simply unwinding in the city. This day officially concludes your Everest Base Camp and Gokyo Ri adventure, leaving you with unforgettable memories of the Himalayas. Accommodation: Hotel in Kathmandu
