• Day 1 : Kathmandu – Everest Mountain Flight – Kathmandu

  05:00 AM – Wake-up and preparation: Begin your Mountain Flight in Nepal early in the morning. Have a light breakfast or tea at your hotel and prepare for the airport. Since mountain flights operate in the early morning, it is recommended to keep your documents, flight confirmation and personal belongings ready the previous evening.

  05:15 AM – Hotel pickup: If airport transportation is included or arranged, meet your private vehicle at your hotel lobby and drive toward Tribhuvan International Airport. The transfer time depends on your hotel location and early-morning traffic conditions. Travelers staying around Thamel, Patan or Boudha can generally reach the domestic terminal relatively quickly during the early morning.

  05:45 AM – Airport check-in: Arrive at the domestic terminal of Tribhuvan International Airport and complete the check-in and security procedures for your scenic Himalayan flight. The current Speedy schedule recommends reaching the airport approximately one hour before departure, while its detailed itinerary lists 5:45 AM for check-in before the 6:00 AM flight.

  06:00 AM – Everest Mountain Flight departure: Board the aircraft and begin your approximately one-hour scenic flight toward the Himalayan range. As the aircraft leaves Kathmandu, the view gradually changes from the Kathmandu Valley to the spectacular Himalayan landscape. The flight travels toward the northeast, offering panoramic views of snow-covered mountains and Himalayan valleys. Depending on weather, visibility and the day's flight route, you may see peaks such as Mount Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Pumori, Gaurishankar, Makalu and other Himalayan summits. Nepal Tourism Board confirms that Kathmandu mountain flights provide views of Everest and numerous other Himalayan peaks during the approximately one-hour morning flight.

  06:15–06:45 AM – Himalayan sightseeing and Everest views: The main sightseeing portion of the flight takes place as the aircraft approaches the Himalayan panorama. Enjoy unobstructed views from your window seat and photograph Mount Everest and the surrounding peaks. The aircraft follows a scenic route before making its turn and returning toward Kathmandu, allowing passengers to appreciate the mountains from changing perspectives. Mountain visibility is dependent on weather and atmospheric conditions, so the exact peaks visible on the day may vary.

  06:45–07:00 AM – Return flight to Kathmandu: After completing the Himalayan viewing section, the aircraft begins its return journey toward Kathmandu. Continue enjoying the mountain panorama, glaciers, valleys and surrounding landscapes before the aircraft descends toward the Kathmandu Valley. The entire mountain-flight experience generally lasts around 50–60 minutes.

  07:00 AM – Arrival at Kathmandu Domestic Airport: Land at the domestic terminal of Tribhuvan International Airport and complete the disembarkation process. Collect your belongings and, if a return transfer has been arranged, meet your driver outside the terminal.

  07:15–07:45 AM – Transfer to your hotel: Drive back to your Kathmandu hotel. Depending on your travel plans, you can continue with breakfast, rest at your hotel or join another Kathmandu sightseeing or Nepal tour program.
