Travel Itinerary
Your day begins at 09:00 AM with a comfortable pick-up from your hotel in Kathmandu. Drive to the sacred Pashupatinath Temple, one of the most important Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. Explore the temple and witness the traditional rituals along the Bagmati River, including the holy cremation ghats.
Continue to the nearby Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest Buddhist stupas in the world. Walk around the stupa with spinning prayer wheels, observe monks in prayer, and enjoy the peaceful spiritual atmosphere. You may take a short refreshment break at a rooftop café overlooking the stupa.
Afterward, drive to Patan Durbar Square, located in the historic city of Lalitpur. Explore the beautifully preserved royal palace complex, ancient temples, courtyards, and the renowned Krishna Mandir, showcasing exquisite Newari architecture and craftsmanship. Lunch can be arranged at a local restaurant in Patan.
In the afternoon, proceed to Swayambhunath Stupa, also known as the Monkey Temple. Climb the stone steps or drive up to enjoy panoramic views of the Kathmandu Valley. Discover the blend of Hindu and Buddhist elements, colorful prayer flags, and lively surroundings.
