Norway Journey: Bergen – Myrdal – Flåm – Oslo (6 Days)

This Norwegian expedition offers a breathtaking journey from the deep fjords of the west coast to the sophisticated urban culture of the capital. The adventure begins in Bergen, the gateway to the fjords, where you will explore the colorful Hanseatic wharf of Bryggen and the bustling fish market before embarking on a legendary day trip aboard the Flåm Railway. Often cited as one of the world's most beautiful train journeys, this route descends from the mountain station of Myrdal through steep valleys and cascading waterfalls to the serene village of Flåm. The transition to Oslo is equally spectacular, traversing the high-mountain plateaus of the Bergensbanen rail line. Once in the capital, you will dive into history at the medieval Akershus Fortress and the modern architectural marvel of the Oslo Opera House, concluding with a walk through the evocative Vigeland Sculpture Park—the world's largest sculpture park made by a single artist.

The journey begins in the historic coastal city of Bergen with a private airport transfer, followed by a full day of exploration via Hop-on Hop-off bus to see the city's 13 major landmarks. On Day 3, guests experience a world-class rail excursion to Myrdal and Flåm, navigating the dramatic mountain landscapes of the Flåm Railway. The tour then heads east via the scenic Bergen Line to Oslo, where an afternoon is dedicated to visiting the Vigeland Sculpture Park, the Viking Ship Museum, and the Oslo Opera House. A final day of culture via the Oslo city bus allows for a deeper look at the Akershus Fortress before a private transfer to the airport for your departure flight.

Tour Schedule: Daily activities are coordinated with Vy (Norwegian State Railways) schedules. Train departures for the Flåm Railway and the Bergen-to-Oslo line are time-sensitive and require prompt attendance.

Pick-up & Drop-off: Private transfers are provided for airport arrivals and departures, as well as transfers to the Bergen Train Station for the journey to Oslo.

Duration: The Flåm Railway day trip and the Bergen-to-Oslo rail crossing are full-day experiences (approx. 7–10 hours). Any additional private guided time beyond the standard transfers will be charged accordingly.
