Travel Itinerary
- Hakodate Morning Market - here was sold a variety of fresh seafood, vegetables and fruits.
- Daiyuma Kokutei Park - renowned for its stunning natural landscapes. The park's main attraction is Lake Daiyuma, a massive lake formed by volcanic eruptions.
- Mount Showa-Shinzan - still an active volcano, most active volcano in Japan. Follow the easy hiking trail to the observatory to see the crater.
- Bear Range (entrance included) - here you can see the unique species of Japanese bears, which is the symbol of Hokkaido.
- Toya Sairo Observation Deck - enjoy panoramic view of Lake Toya.
- Otaru Canal - once an important port for barges-carrying coal or marine products. While the warehouses along the canal was transformed into museums, shops and restaurants.
- Otaru Music Box Museum - famous for its collection of several notable music boxes with a wide range of design.
- Otaru Steam Clock - it was a gift from Vancouver to Otaru and well-known as the symbol of the city.
- Kitaichi Glass Otaru Museum - famous for its variety display of glassworks.
- Odori Park - city centre of Sapporo. You can view the Sapporo TV Tower here as well.
