Travel Itinerary
You will be picked up from your accommodation in Marrakech, and drive towards Imlil valley from where you will start the trek.
Trek to Toubkal Refuge via Aremd and Sidi Chamarouch
Once you are met by the local team, you will set off trekking in the valley of Aït Mizane, towards the village of Aremd then the sanctuary of Sidi Chamarouch and the nearby waterfall. Throughout the day, trek for about 5 to 6 hours from Imlil at 1,740 meters to Toubkal Refuge at 3,207 meters.
Arrive at the Toubkal Refuge
Continue trekking along steep paths to reach the Toubkal refuge. Enjoy dinner and spend the
Early in the morning, we make our attempt on the summit of Jebel Toukbal, the highest peak in Northern Africa. Our route takes us up the south cirque, crossing the stream above the refuge. The walking is relatively straightforward, but the scree and the altitude will make the going quite difficult in parts. The views along the way make the journey more than worthwhile. When you reach the summit, you will see that the vistas across the surrounding landscape are quite breathtaking. From here there are unrestricted views in every direction, from the Marrakesh Plain to the High Atlas in the north and as far south as the Anti-Atlas and the Sahara. We will retrace our steps when we return down the mountain and head back to the Toubkal Refuge to gets our bags and back slowly walk back from the Toubkal Refuge to Imlil. Passing by sidi chamharouch and a village of Armed, After arrival to Imlil where we will meet with our driver to transfer us to Marrakech.
