Travel in a comfortable 4x4 Land Cruiser jeep, ideal for game viewing across the vast savannah plains. You will spend three nights at the renowned Mara Sopa Lodge, a well-positioned midrange lodge offering stunning views, excellent service, and close proximity to key wildlife areas.
From dramatic predator hunts to peaceful sunrise drives, every moment in the Mara is filled with discovery and excitement.
Travel Itinerary
Your safari begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Nairobi, where the Jossec Safaris team will warmly welcome you and conduct a short briefing about your adventure. You will then depart for the Masai Mara via the scenic Great Rift Valley, with brief stops for photography and relaxation.
Arrive at Mara Sopa Lodge in time for lunch, followed by some relaxation before heading out for your first evening game drive. This is your first opportunity to spot elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and possibly a hunting cheetah as the sun sets over the plains.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Spend a full day exploring the vast Masai Mara ecosystem with morning and afternoon game drives, or opt for a packed picnic lunch to maximize your time in the reserve.
Expect thrilling encounters with the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo—as well as large herds of wildebeest and zebras. The Mara is also famous for its predator action, making it one of the best places in Africa to witness real-time wildlife drama.
