Travel Itinerary
You will be picked up from your hotel in Mombasa, Diani, Nyali, Bamburi, or Shanzu and transferred to Moi International Airport for your scheduled morning flight to the Maasai Mara.
After landing at the reserve's airstrip, your safari guide will welcome you and begin an en-route game drive to your lodge or tented camp. Watch for elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and antelopes before arriving in time for lunch.
Following some relaxation, depart for an afternoon game drive in search of lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffaloes, and other wildlife before returning to camp at sunset.
Meal Plan: Lunch & Dinner
After breakfast, spend the entire day exploring the vast plains of the Maasai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. Visit the famous Mara River, especially during the migration season, where thousands of wildebeest and zebras cross crocodile-filled waters.
Your experienced guide will help you track the Big Five and many other species while sharing fascinating insights into the reserve's wildlife and ecosystem.
Guests may also choose an optional hot air balloon safari with a champagne bush breakfast or visit a traditional Maasai village (additional cost).
Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
