Itinerary Overview

Escape the beaches of Mombasa and discover the hidden beauty of Shimba Hills National Reserve, one of Kenya’s most scenic coastal wildlife destinations. Located just a short drive from the coast, Shimba Hills offers a unique combination of lush rainforest, rolling hills, spectacular viewpoints, waterfalls, and abundant wildlife. The reserve is famous for hosting Kenya’s only population of the rare sable antelope, as well as elephants, giraffes, buffalo, and a rich variety of bird species.

Travel Itinerary

Day 1 : Mombasa – Shimba Hills National Reserve
Depart Mombasa in the morning and drive south along the coast to Shimba Hills National Reserve, arriving in time for a morning game drive. Explore the reserve’s beautiful forest landscapes before proceeding to your lodge for lunch and relaxation.
In the afternoon, enjoy another game drive and visit the famous Sheldrick Falls (guided walk with a ranger can be arranged).

2. Payment Terms

A deposit of 40% of the total tour cost is required to confirm a booking.

Full payment must be received no later than 30 days prior to departure, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Bookings made within 30 days of departure require full payment at the time of booking.

Payments may be made via bank transfer, credit/debit card, mobile money, or other approved methods.

3. Prices

All prices are quoted in the specified currency and are subject to change without notice until the booking is confirmed.

Quoted prices include only the services expressly stated in the itinerary.

The Company reserves the right to adjust prices due to increases in park fees, government taxes, fuel costs, exchange rate fluctuations, or supplier charges beyond its control.

4. Cancellation Policy

Client Cancellation

More than 60 days before departure: Deposit refundable less administrative charges.

30–59 days before departure: 50% cancellation fee.

15–29 days before departure: 75% cancellation fee.

Less than 15 days before departure or no-show: 100% cancellation fee.

Some lodges, camps, airlines, and third-party suppliers may have stricter cancellation policies which shall apply where relevant.

6. Changes or Cancellation by the Company

The Company reserves the right to alter itineraries due to weather conditions, road conditions, safety concerns, government regulations, park closures, or other circumstances beyond its control.

Where significant changes are necessary, the Company will provide suitable alternatives whenever possible.

If the Company cancels a tour due to circumstances within its control, payments received will be refunded in full.
