You will stay at the well-rated Masai Mara Sopa Lodge or an equivalent midrange lodge, offering a perfect balance of comfort and immersion in nature. With expert guidance, scenic drives, and personalized service, this safari delivers a rich and authentic African experience.
Travel Itinerary
Your safari begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Nairobi by the Jossec Safaris team, followed by a short briefing about your adventure ahead. You will then drive through the scenic Great Rift Valley with a brief stopover for breathtaking views before continuing towards the Masai Mara.
Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and some relaxation. In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive across the open savannah. Expect to spot elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and more as the sun sets over the plains.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Masai Mara Sopa Lodge or equivalent.
Spend a full day exploring the Masai Mara, one of Africa’s richest wildlife reserves. After breakfast, depart with packed lunch for an extended game drive across the reserve.
This is the best opportunity to search for the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino—along with cheetahs, hyenas, and large herds of wildebeest and zebras. The rolling plains and riverbanks offer excellent chances for wildlife photography.
You may also choose an optional hot air balloon safari at sunrise (USD 450 per person), followed by a champagne breakfast in the bush—an unforgettable highlight.
Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.
