Itinerary Overview
Experience an unforgettable 3-day wildlife and conservation safari to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Kenya’s leading private conservancy located in the foothills of Mount Kenya. Famous for its exceptional rhino conservation, Ol Pejeta is home to the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa, the last two remaining northern white rhinos, and Kenya’s only chimpanzee sanctuary – the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary. The conservancy also offers excellent opportunities to see the Big Five, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and rhinos.
Travel Itinerary
07:00 AM – Pick-up from your Nairobi hotel, residence, or airport.
- Drive through the scenic central highlands towards Nanyuki with views of Mount Kenya (weather permitting).
- Stop at the Equator crossing for photographs.
- Arrive at the lodge/camp in time for lunch.
- Relax before an afternoon game drive.
03:30 PM – 06:30 PM – Afternoon game drive in the conservancy.
Highlights include:
- Rhino tracking and viewing.
- Elephant, giraffe, zebra, buffalo, and predator sightings.
- Visit the famous waterholes for wildlife photography.
Dinner and overnight at your selected lodge or camp.
After an early breakfast, enjoy a full-day exploration of the conservancy with a picnic lunch.
Activities include:
- Visit the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary, the only place in Kenya where rescued chimpanzees can be seen.
- Visit the northern white rhino enclosure and learn about the conservation efforts to protect these rare animals.
- Search for the Big Five and other wildlife during extensive game drives.
- Visit the Morani Information Centre and meet Baraka, the famous blind black rhino.
- Enjoy breathtaking views of Mount Kenya and the Laikipia landscapes.
Return to the lodge/camp in the evening.

- Accommodation as specified in the itinerary (double/twin sharing basis).
- Meals on Full Board basis (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner) while on safari.
