Itinerary Overview
This journey takes you through four of Kenya’s top safari destinations, each offering a unique experience. Begin with Amboseli National Park, famous for large herds of elephants and breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Continue to Lake Naivasha for a relaxing stop with optional boat rides and Crescent Island nature walks. Explore Lake Nakuru National Park, known for rhinos, flamingos, and rich birdlife. End your safari in the legendary Maasai Mara National Reserve, home to the Big Five and some of the best game viewing in Africa.
Travel Itinerary
Depart from Nairobi after breakfast and drive to Amboseli National Park. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge, followed by an afternoon game drive to enjoy Amboseli’s famous elephant herds and views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Amboseli is widely known as the “Home of the African Elephant,” and it also offers excellent wildlife viewing and striking scenery. Overnight in Amboseli.
Spend the day exploring Amboseli with morning and afternoon game drives. This is one of the best places in Kenya for elephant viewing, and the open plains make wildlife spotting easy and rewarding. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, depart for Lake Naivasha. Arrive for lunch and enjoy a relaxed afternoon by the lake, with optional activities depending on your preference. Lake Naivasha is a peaceful freshwater lake setting, and Sopa notes the area is ideal for nature-based relaxation and birdlife experiences. Overnight in Naivasha.
After breakfast, drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. Arrive in time for lunch, then head out for an afternoon game drive.
