Itinerary Overview
This 4-day tour showcases the highlights of Sapporo and Otaru in Hokkaido. Beginning in Sapporo, travelers will enjoy a full city tour, visiting iconic landmarks including the Hokkaido Shrine, Shiroi Koibito Park, and Sapporo Central Wholesale Market. The afternoon includes visits to Mt. Okura Ski Jump Stadium and Hitsujigaoka Observation Hill for spectacular views. On Day 3, explore the charming port town of Otaru with stops at the historic Otaru Canal, Otaru Music Box Museum, and Kitaichi Glass, as well as a glassmaking workshop at the Glass Studio. Travel Itinerary
Arrive at New Chitose Airport. You will be met by representative and helped to board an airport bus. Transfer to Sapporo Station Bus Terminal (Travel time: 60 minutes). Upon arrival, make your own way to accommodation.
Breakfast at hotel. Make your own way to Sapporo Station Bus Terminal for your Sapporo Morning Tour (SIC): Hokkaido Shrine/ Shiroi Koibito Park/ Sapporo Central Wholesale Market. After morning tour, 30min, free time at Sapporo Station and the assemble again at the meeting point for afternoon tour. Sapporo Afternoon Tour (SIC): Mt. Okura Ski Jump Stadium/ Hitsujigaoka Observation Hill. Tour disbands at Sapporo Station Bus Terminal. Return to hotel on your own.
Breakfast at hotel. Make your own way to Sapporo Station Bus Terminal for your Otaru Bay Story (SIC).
Otaru is a quaint little port town best known for its beautiful natural scenery and sake distilleries. This old prosperous town was founded on trade andis now a popular travel spot for tourists from both Japan and abroad. Hop on a premium sightseeing bus and explore the city in-depth with plenty of main attraction stops along the way. Witness the breathtaking scenery around Otaru Canal Terminal lined with stunning icons of architecture and visit museums to learn about its booming local industries at the Otaru Music Box Museum and the Kitaichi Glass. Take in the glorious panorama of Otaru on the Mt. Tengu Ropeway ride before immersing in an engaging glass production workshop at the Glass Studio.
Tour disbands at Sapporo Station Bus Terminal. Return to hotel on your own.

Guided sightseeing tours are conducted with professional representatives or in SIC (Seat-In-Coach) format. Some free time is provided for independent exploration and shopping.
Pick-up & Transfers:
Arrival and departure transfers are provided to and from New Chitose Airport. Local transfers to and from bus terminals and attractions are included.
Duration:
This is a 4-day tour starting in Sapporo and ending in Sapporo. Changes to the itinerary or extensions may result in additional charges.

Some activities involve walking and moderate physical activity, particularly when exploring Otaru and visiting museums. Comfortable clothing and walking shoes are recommended.
