Travel Itinerary
Arrival at Yogyakarta Airport, you will be picked up by our representative and transferred directly to Parangtritis Beach. Then, visit Gumuk Pasir sand dune, a rare phenomenon with high sand sedimentation from Merapi and Merbabu mountains forming a desert‑like landscape. Next, enjoy sunset from Obelix Seaview with Indian Ocean panorama. Check in at hotel, free program. Lunch and dinner will be served at local restaurant.
After breakfast at hotel, we will take you to Merapi Mountain to enjoy a Lava Tour by 4x4 jeep, visiting the ruined houses museum caused by the 2010 eruption, the “alien stone”, and bunker. Lunch at local restaurant, then continue stepping up to Borobudur Temple structure floor, built in the 9th Century during the Sailendra Dynasty and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Free shopping at Malioboro Street. Dinner at local restaurant, back to hotel, free program.
After breakfast at hotel, visit Timang Beach, famous for its traditional gondola formerly used by local fishermen to get lobsters, now open for tourists as an optional gondola or bridge experience (personal account). Next, we take you to Breksi Cliff, a former limestone mining area that now features impressive giant cliffs. Dinner at local restaurant, back to hotel, free program.
