Travel Itinerary
Arrival at Yogyakarta Airport, you will be picked up by our representative. Straight, we will take you to Parangtritis Beach. Then, visit Gumuk Pasir sand dune is rare phenomenon, only few in the world. They are a very high sedimentation of sand coming from Merapi and Merbabu mountains forming like a desert. Next, enjoy sunset from Obelix Seaview with Hindian Ocean panorama. Check in hotel, free program. Lunch and dinner will be served at local restaurant.
After breakfast at hotel, we will take you to Merapi Mountain to enjoy Lava Tour by riding jeep 4x4 WD visiting ruin houses museum caused by Merapi eruption in 2010, “alien stone”, and bunker. Lunch at local restaurant. Continue stepping up to Borobudur Temple structure floor, built in 9th Century during the Sailendra Dynasty and has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Continue to Candi Mendut (Mendut Temple) is older than Candi Borobudur there are story of children in it walls and Candi Pawon (Pawon temple) its not a grave but a place to keep King Indra’s weapon namely Vajranala. Dinner at local restaurant. Back to hotel, free program.
Breakfast at hotel, we will take you to Sultan Palace which still today considered the highest-ranking court of Indonesia where old custom of courtesy are still practiced. Not far from the Palace, proceed to Taman Sari Water castle is a recreation garden for Sri Sultan’s family. There is a pool that was once used as a bath for the king's concubines. Lunch at local restaurant. Continue to Tebing Breksi, ruins of traditional mining then managed to become tourist destination equipped with several instagramable spot selfie. Then continue to visit Obelix Hills, is one of the newest one tourist destinations with sunset point that equipped with instagramable spot selfie. Dinner at local restaurant, back to hotel, free program.
