Itinerary Overview
This 3-day safari takes you from Kampala/Entebbe to Murchison Falls National Park for an unforgettable wildlife experience. On Day 1, you'll visit the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track rhinos on foot, then head to Murchison Falls to see the mighty waterfall before retiring to your lodge. Day 2 features a morning game drive on the northern bank of the Nile, where you'll spot elephants, lions, and more, followed by an afternoon boat cruise to the bottom of the falls. On Day 3, you'll return to Kampala/Entebbe, taking in the scenic countryside on your journey back.
Travel Itinerary
You will be picked up from Kampala or Entebbe early in the morning and start your journey to Murchison Falls National Park. On the way, you will stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track rhinos on foot. After lunch, continue to the park and visit the top of Murchison Falls, where the Nile River forces its way through a narrow gorge, creating a powerful waterfall. Later, drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
After an early breakfast, go for a morning game drive on the northern bank of the Nile. Look out for elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, and many kinds of antelopes. Return to the lodge for lunch and some rest. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise on the Nile to the bottom of the falls, where you can see hippos, crocodiles, and many birds along the riverbanks.
After breakfast, begin your drive back to Kampala or Entebbe. Enjoy the beautiful countryside scenery along the way. You will arrive in the afternoon or early evening, marking the end of your safari.
