Travel Itinerary
Meet and Greet upon arrival in Helsinki Airport and transfer to your hotel. Check into hotel. Rest of the day free at leisure.
Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed for Helsinki by Hop On Hop Off Bus. See top Helsinki attractions such as Senate square - the huge, open square that's home to Helsinki's Cathedral and Lasipalatsi building, Market Square. Overnight at Hotel.
Breakfast at the Hotel. Departure transfer to Train Station. Connect train to Lappeenranta (Standard Train Ticket Included). The Old Town, also called the Fortress, the centre of the city and the harbour are the primary locations for musical and other events in the summertime. Arrive in Lappeenranta and transfer to your hotel. Check in at the hotel. You are free to enjoy the sights on your own in Lappeenranta. Some interesting sights to see in Lappeenranta are Saimaa Canal, Fortress, Sandcastle, South Karelia Museum and Lappeenranta Art Museum, and finally the Ylämaa Gem & Mineral Exhibition. Overnight at the Hotel.

Tour Schedule: Daily departures are coordinated with Finnish State Railways (VR) schedules; train travel is a core component of this itinerary.
Pick-up & Drop-off: Transfers are provided between airports, hotels, and train stations in Helsinki, Lappeenranta, Kuopio, Rovaniemi, and Turku.
Duration: Most city explorations are flexible; however, travel days between regions (especially Rovaniemi to Turku) involve several hours of scenic train transit.
Note: Outdoor activities such as the Saimaa Canal visit and Santa Claus Village excursions are subject to local Arctic weather conditions.
Important: Standard train tickets are included; however, meals on board the train (except where noted) and entrance fees to optional museums like the Arktikum are typically not included unless pre-booked.
