Travel Itinerary
Leave from Gondar in the morning and drive into the Simien Mountains National Park.After completing formalities at the park office in Debark, we begin our first scenic trek. You’ll likely spot your first troops of Gelada baboons on the way to Sankaber Camp, where we spend the night.
Trek from Sankaber,passing the impressive Jinbar Waterfall that plunges into the Geech Abyss. The trail offers breathtaking panoramic views. We arrive at Geech Camp in the afternoon, giving you time to relax and enjoy a memorable sunset over the Simien peaks
This is the most spectacular day. We trek to the iconic viewpoint Imet Gogo (3,926m) for 360-degree views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. From there, we continue our journey all along the escarpment to Chennek Camp, with a high chance of spotting the majestic Walia Ibex.

About the Operator
I was born and raised in the shadow of the Simien Mountains, where as a boy, I would watch foreign travelers pass through our village with a sense of wonder. They came seeking something magical – and I realized I held the key to showing them the Ethiopia I knew and loved.
What began as showing visitors around my hometown has grown into a passion for sharing the authentic soul of Ethiopia – from the misty peaks of the Simiens to the ancient churches of Lalibela.
