Itinerary Overview

Travel Itinerary
Lake Ziway is one of the largest lakes in the Ethiopian Great Rift Valley. It’s famous for its rich biodiversity and historical significance.
Take a boat ride to explore the lake and visit the islands, including the famous Bird's Island with its historic church. Capture the stunning landscapes and unique birdlife.
Head to Lake Langano
It's known for its beautiful scenery, beaches, and diverse birdlife. The beach areas are perfect for a relaxing swim. Enjoy the surrounding hills and nature trails. Enjoy swimming and beach activities.
Evening: Dinner at a lakeside restaurant. Overnight at Sabaa Resort or similar
Visit Abijatta-Shalla National Park for wildlife viewing and a nature walk.This park is located near Lake Langano and is home to two lakes, Abijatta and Shalla, and a variety of wildlife and bird species. Look out for animals like antelopes, warthogs, and various bird species, including numerous bird species, such as pelicans, flamingos, and several migratory birds.
Explore the park's well-known natural hot springs in the area are known for their therapeutic properties. They create a relaxing ambiance, ideal for unwinding and enjoying nature.
Drive back to Addis Ababa
Finally, we drive back to Addis Ababa. This will conclude your 2-day tour of Lake Langano.
