The Grand Tour of Catalonia is a route to get to know, discover, live, taste and enjoy Catalonia by vehicle. It is a trip and many trips at the same time because each traveler can organize it to their liking, travel at their own pace, at any time of the year, and choose from a wide range of experiences to do. A circular route to discover the essence of Catalonia: it connects cultural icons, natural sites and food and wine pleasures that define the personality of this land, both in rural and urban environments. Inspired by the great journeys that began in the middle of the 19th century, the Grand Tour of Catalonia is a route of more than 2,000 kilometers, designed to be traveled by motorized vehicle in two ways: on a single 13-day route or 5 sections, between 5 and 7 stages each. Sustainable and responsible tourism is one of the relevant axes of this project. It aims to promote knowledge and respect for the territory, its customs and culture, and to do so in an inclusive manner. It seeks to promote the discovery of local life and local products, and encourage respect for the environment. Experience the excitement of nature, let yourself be carried away by architectural currents, discover flavors, learn about exceptional human stories, enjoy the territory in a sustainable way: Grand Tour of Catalonia, a journey full of journeys. Barcelona, the great Mediterranean city, will be the starting point for this journey to Roman Tarragona. Along the way, we will encounter Montserrat, the most iconic mountain in Catalonia, with vineyards like beautiful gardens with views of the sea and precious agricultural heritage, built one stone at a time. There will be time to taste delicious wines and meet some friendly giants. All this to the soundtrack of a musical genius, cellist Pau Casals. ITINERARY Avinyonet del Penedes – Subirats – Santes Creus – Nulles - Puigpelat – Valls – Brafim From Alt Penedés to Alt Camp comarques Start at the heart of catalonia where you will see the wine going through its veins experiencing how the traditional Cava is made and taste the local tipical dishes of the county. After such a big swim on grapes juice, go deep into Alt Camp history, which means World history, visiting the Cister Monastery of Santes Creus which was erected in the 12th century, in today's municipality of Aiguamurcia, in the village of Santes Creus, in the province of Tarragona (Catalonia). However, it was in the thirteenth century when Peter III of Aragon expressed his desire to be buried in the monastery and a royal crypt was built for himself and his son, King James II that many of the local nobility established the custom to choose this place for burial. This led to the monastery to increase in splendor and greatness thanks to the numerous donations received. Later, with such a big cultural Data, you deserved to degust a Premium Top menu with Km0 products made by local cook and winners, you will never forget Catalonia after it. On the last day we can’t forget and miss to visit a traditional cellar where red & white wine will be tasted during an amazing and funny activity of Scape room, all customized on wine culture. The best way to say goodbye to the area is to have lunch in an old Tradictional Catalan Masia (farmhouse) and eat our famous grilled meats and vegetables begore to have the opportunity to see how Vermut (local tipical drink of the county) is made and of course tasted on all its several types, to put the icing on the cake.

By choosing this fun and original activity, you will discover all the secrets of CAVA and its elaboration process. You won´t just get to taste three Cavas, but everyone will get to disgorge a bottle of Cava, without forgetting a visit to the old farmhouse and all the old installations.
Once you have selected the cava that you like the best from tasting, we will take you to the elaboration room, where with your own hands in a totally manual way you will disgorge your own bottle. Next you will put in the cork and finally put on the label. This will be your bottle of Cava to keep, that you can take home and open whenever you want to remember the magical experience that you had at Artcava.
This is a very unique workshop in the world of wine tourism, in a small winery where you will participate personally with the owners, who are us.

Located in a spectacular setting in the heart of Penedès, "El Mirador de les Caves" is a very versatile place. It has different terraces and gardens and a large car park.
On each side of the restaurant, we find the terrace "El Bosquet del Mirador" with a casual style to take a coffee or a drink at the end of the meal, and on the other side of the restaurant there is "Mirador Mirador "where you can enjoy the best views of the Penedès.
The gastronomy has been made following commitment to local products and quality. Looking and tasting different suppliers of our area and incorporating cooking grill, ideal for the environment in which it is located.
Cooking techniques and staging are also two added values in our kitchen.
To cook our grilled meat we use a special barbecue, a combination of grill and oven that works 100% with the charcoal variety "white Quebracho", this coal is a very aromatic with little sparks.
This cooking system works at high temperature and provides authentic wood flavor, getting unique textures and brews on all our products

For the most refined, you will enjoy the maximum expression of our wines. EscapeRoom and tasting of 5 wines.
An Escape Room is a game that consists of a series of tests that you will have to solve with ingenuity, intuition and cooperating with your team within a set time.
Time plays against you, 45 minutes are what separates you from solving all the puzzles and getting the much-desired prize.
At the end of the activity there is a guided tour of the cellar followed by a wine tasting.
The tasting consists of a selection of 5 wines of Cellers Blanch and a surprise for wine lovers.
