This 6-day luxury safari expedition offers an intimate encounter with the diverse wilderness of Botswana, transitioning from the elephant-rich corridors of Chobe National Park to the pristine waterways of the Okavango Delta. The journey begins in Kasane, where the Chobe River provides a dramatic backdrop for river-based game viewing and sunset cruises, before a scenic light aircraft flight whisks you into the heart of the Delta. This itinerary is designed for nature enthusiasts seeking a blend of high-intensity game drives and serene water safaris, featuring stays in secluded lodges that offer a front-row seat to one of Africa’s last great wildernesses.
Welcome to Botswana! Upon landing in Kasane International Airport, you will be met by an English-speaking representative from the lodge for a road transfer to Elephant Valley Lodge (about 20min drive).
On arrival at the lodge, guests will be able to check in whilst enjoying a delicious welcome drink and depending on time of arrival, lunch at 1300. Guests will then be at leisure till game drive at 1530 which are conducted in the Chobe National Park. On arrival back at camp at about 1900, guests will have a chance to freshen up before dinner which is at about 2000.
Breakfast is served between 0700 to 0830, following which guest will then depart for a Boat Cruise at 0830 to be on the Chobe River at 0900 and then make their way into the Chobe Park. This activity is approximately three hours.
Breakfast between 0700 and 0830, the guests will then depart for the Boat Cruise as was in Day 2.
NOTE: Guests that require an earlier check out will unfortunately miss the morning boat cruise as the guests only return to the lodge for check out at approximately 1230. On check out guests will depart for Kadizora Camp.
Transfer by light Aircraft from Kasane International Airport to Kadizora Airstrip (1 hour & minute flight) followed by a game drive transfer to Kadizora Camp (about 10 minutes)
On arrival at the lodge guests, will be able to check in whilst enjoying a delicious welcome drink and depending on time of arrival, lunch is at 1230. Guests will then be at leisure till high tea at 1530 followed by either a game drive, Mokoro or Boat Cruise activity at 1630. On arrival back at camp between 1800 and 1900, guests will have a chance to freshen up before dinner which is at about 1930.
Our Schedule: Daily morning activities typically begin at 06:00 AM for game drives or 08:30 AM for boat cruises; afternoon activities and High Tea commence at 15:30 PM to maximize wildlife viewing during peak hours.
Pick-up: Available at Kasane International Airport (BBK) upon arrival, with subsequent transfers via light aircraft to the Kadizora Airstrip and final road transfers to the camps.
Duration: This is a 6-day wilderness circuit; any significant deviations, requested private vehicle upgrades, or extensions to the light aircraft flight schedule will be charged accordingly.
Note: The itinerary is subject to change based on seasonal water levels in the Delta, local weather conditions, and wildlife movements, which may dictate the safety and availability of Mokoro and boat excursions.
Important: Please take note that light aircraft transfers are subject to strict luggage weight and soft-sided bag restrictions for safety; guests requiring early departures on Day 3 will forfeit the morning boat cruise as return-to-camp time is approximately 12:30 PM.
